About us

My name is Linda van den Broek. In 2008 a long cherished dream went fulfilled and I set up Van den Broek Exportadvisering. I am established in Houten, in the heart of the Netherlands.

Ever since my days as a student in the 1980s, I have been very interested in doing international business. It was no coincidence that I chose to study International Marketing. Afterwards I worked in the export, logistics and financial services sectors.

From 1994 through to 2002 I lived abroad together with my family. First in the United States, then in Malaysia and finally in Hong Kong. In this period I started studying business economics, which I completed after returning to the Netherlands.

Spending time abroad deepened my interest in doing international business. Keen interest in other cultures, customs and habits as well as a sense of understanding is key to doing business successfully internationally. It is an important motivator for my current activities.

I would like to use my experience and know-how to help other companies further  develop their international markets. In order to provide an even better service, I recently completed an Export Marketing Management study programme and can now call myself a Qualified Export Manager.

Ever since I started business, I had assignments for both Dutch and foreign companies. Currently I work on the development of export plans, export scans, partner search & selection and apply for subsidies. Furthermore I give cross cultural training and export courses.
